PROTECTION

PSALM 91

1. I dwell in the secret place of the Most High and shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty.
2. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I trust!
3. For He will deliver me from the enemy and his traps and from the deadly pestilence.
4. He will cover me with His feathers, and under His wings shall I trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are my protection.
5. I will not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the evil plots and slanders of the wicked that flies by day,
6. Nor shall I be afraid of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.
7. A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand, but it shall not come near me.
8. I am inaccessible in the Secret Place of the Most High, so only as a spectator shall I see the reward of the wicked.
9. Because I have made the Lord my refuge, and the Most High my dwelling place,
10. There shall no evil befall me, nor any plague or calamity come near my dwelling.
11. For God will give His angels charge over me to accompany and defend and preserve me in all my ways of obedience and service.
12. The angles will bear me up on their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
13. I will tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and serpent shall I trample under foot.
14. God says, [Because I (place your name here) set my love upon HIM, therefore HE will deliver me; HE will set me on high, because I have a personal knowledge of HIS mercy, love and kindness; I trusts and rely on God, knowing HE will never forsake me, no, never.]
15. You shall call upon ME, and I GOD will answer you (place your name here); I will be with you (your name here) in trouble, I will deliver you (your name here) and honor you.
16. With long life will I satisfy you (your name here) and show you MY salvation.
